need info concerning the vx545hd

will i be able to load this player when it is hooked up to a usb 1.1 port? or does it have to be a 2.0 port? just curious. thanks in advance

I am pretty sure it works with a 2.0 port but not sure about 1.0. I heard the old firmware did not support usb 1.0 but the new firmware fixed it.... Not too many people uses 1.0 now anyways.

thanks for your reply. i was asking cause when i get it i wont have access to my workhorse computer as i wont be at my house. so i will have to settle for an older hp for awhile. hopefully it comes with the updated firmware (not likely tho)

It will work fine on a USB 1.1 port.
