Ok so some of you may know that i was in Cambodia for a few days, i wasn't really able to get online while in Cambodia as, to my complete surprise, the net was a wee bit slow over there, so after the first day there i pretty much didn't bother to get online.
However on the way back i had a layover in Viet Nam at the Ho Chi Min airport, where the net was quite fast and they had wifi everywhere, i proceeded for the next few hours to use my W3000 to check my mail and such, i have to say the W3000 was just blazing fast, pages loaded quick, i was able to check through many of my hundreds of emails that had piled up and get a bit of work done. I was really impressed, i had friends who had their iPhones and were checking their web mail and the W3000 still loaded pages faster, i was quite happy with my little toy.
i wasn't able to log onto the forums as i kept getting a message in Chinese with an icon showing a lock and keypad - guessing i mucked up the settings for HTTP post while i was messing about with earlier.
The battery life also was quite stellar, with wifi on, almost continuous use of the touch screen and the screen being on, the battery still has about 35% of juice in it.
On the two hour flight from Viet Nam to HK, i used it to watch some videos, loved the screen and i finally appreciated the stand attachment that it came with. The downside to the attachment is that the stylus pen comes off easily and, i guess, at sometime during the trip, the stylus fell off and i lost it
Its such a shame this player doesn't come with an English OS, i think people would prefer this over the Q5.
