I like them best in combination with the M6. The Betas are really good if you look at the mids and the high end, but on the low end, the bass is lacking. Not so in combo with the Meizu. On other players I have to use the E5 to round out the bass, but on the M6 this lack vanishes without the amp. The sound is well balanced, full of clarity and detail.
It becomes just the way it's right for me. I like that a lot.
What I dislike about the Betas, is that I had the same issue like TristanShiz with my first pair. The right earphone stopped working. With the other pair I ordered with the N1, I have the feeling that the right earphone isn't as loud as the left one. It sounds as being further away. I switched ears etc. but the effect remains the same. It seems that the right earphone is the weak point of the Betas.

Edit: Now I read others have problems with the left earphone, too. All in all there seems something to be wrong with the Betas?!

The N1 is really a good looking player! It's so nice for daily use. Due to its metal body, it doesn't feel cheap and weedy like other players of this type. I really love it!! If you want to see how "porn-o-matic" it looks at all, look at the pics postet after my review. There you can see all its shininess :)

Any idea on Camera setting for making your Beta shine? I have Powershot SD400.

On my camera I switch to "macro mode" to be able to do this type of pictures. But the light around you plays an important role, too. In my room, the light is bad, so it's not that easy to make a good shot.

Try to rise the bass boost on M6 to 2 or 3 and see if yoou like it! :) I'm afraid of this problem with left channel...

I already did that  I like the bass boost function of the M6! The M6 is the best sounding PMP I had until now.
The sound options are great! You can modify a lot, so you are able to set it the way it's best for you! That's what I appreciate a lot. Good UI and settings menue. Same with the display settings and such. Just great in my opinion.
