In the pics for the SoundMagic P10 Portable Foldable Headphones, I noticed the bag supplied says Sony on it

I noticed that too, never got a straight answer from SoundMagic on this, i think they may OEM a pair of earphones for Sony similar to that of the P10 in an asian market.

I know (from reading over the past half year) that the parent company of SoundMAGIC, aka Shenzhen) is a big OEM maker for many popular brands. The SoundMAGIC line that we know of, is their first attempt at bringing out their own name band. If I understand it correctly, they were supposed to only be released in mainland China. It would seem that the exports are so popular that they are now on their way to being a major (if not lower budget) brand of their own right.
