Onda are at it again

another new player hitting the market very soon ONDA VX767

specs

From the specs it seems it uses the current onda favorite chip, the Ingenics JZ series. Should be released soon

looks quite nice, but (i am pretty sure) that it isn't touch screen and the button layout will most likely be very similar to that of the Onda VX757

raz i really like the look of this player but one line in the description has me concerned

what exactly is "rich support of the game"

i just dont want to be pwned by my music player.....

btw does anyone else wish onda would release a cell phone.. i really dig thier style...

whats the ingenic chip like? can it decode higher res xvid upto 720x480? 400mhz seems a bit slow. I like the look of this player, nice big screen but again I doubt the interface will look anything like that when it is released. Onda also have a bad habit of not including ID3 browsing and using awful looking fonts in their interfaces.

What are they on? releasing a new player thats slightly better than the last. Sounds like another market competitor i know.

Looks like a very nice MP4 player, the TV-OUT thing is a nice feature.

This MP4 player better be good when ONDA releases it.

Not to sure where they got touch screen from, if it is, then this will be one big touch screen MP4 player.

Got any info on release/stock date and price?

I only play 4:3 videos (thus looking at V2000SE a lot) but using this screen calculator I Googled up:

it is even slightly bigger even with 4:3. Whether it's worth the extra wait and price (ofcourse it has other features) will just have to see ... that's if I haven't already ordered yet.

i would guess a couple of months yet for thhis one to be released, if at all. This is just the way they work, these things get announced, forgotten about then either aear on the scene or sink without trace. So who knows im afraid, the Chinese are not known fr sticking to plans or schdules.

It will probably be out sometime next month, 4GB will be a little more expensive than the VX747 4GB, so somewhere between $100 - $110

I'm not tryin to go against you but I think it'll prolly more likely be out in 2 months
because I read that the official release of the 757 will be end of april
so 767 will prolly be after that because they've been releaseing player about once a month

o and question real quick
for tv output
does that mean we can transfer stuff from vx767 to tv or from tv to 767
and how exactly is it gonna work
is it going to be wireless or like cables or something like that?

well anyways can't wait for it to come out
