zzzPhone's cousin - the zed1.2

Postby brycewi » Mon Apr 07, 2008 5:01 am

Ok, so we're all familiar with the zzzphone. Lot's of customizable options but a huge drawback in its "proprietary software". Tempting, but meh.
Anyway, looks like they just came out with their next phone, called the zed1.2 - bit of a better name than the "sleepy" zzzphone PLUS it has a legit OS. It actually runs WinMo CE 6.0!!!
Also customizable, it looks pretty decent. It's also more expensive for the un-customed base model. The zzzphone, of course, is attractive because the base STARTS at $149. The new zed1.2 starts at $349.
Nonetheless, it looks like an interesting option to those who are sick of the iPhone clones out there. But, as promised by Raz last week, he might have some tricks up his sleeves for non iPhone clones coming mp4nation's way.
For me, I'm still in a wait-and-see mode. But I thought this phone is worth a look.

I KNOW! That one threw me! You could also get "manmade" diamonds for much cheaper, just in case you like bling-bling but don't have a quarter mil to drop on it!
