Help! (Noob here).

I bought a V8000HDS from HK back to Australia recently (16GB version), It had been working well all along up til last week where I tried to plug it into my new Samsung LED TV through HDMI. There was no output on the TV at all. I went into the menu to force HDMI to be the main output and it basically restarted. Now, the device does not even boot or show anything on the screen. The Screen DOES light up (you can see the LED lights come up around the side), but there is no output whatsoever.

Tried to do everything and still no good. It wont even "see" through USB connection either back to the PC.

Anyone ? Please help me?

Here's a firmware upgrade guide for your player. Can always reinstall the firmware. But, before you do, look at the troubleshooting section about if your player appears dead. Will still need the firmware: viewtopic.php?f=69&t=16905
