cc1600 Players in general

HI all,

So i have my M70+ for over 1 year and still working great.

But since firmware update mid last year, what happened whats new.

Is linux running on them yet.(rockbox?). Better ebook reader, english pdf reader. better codec support?

Anything new since the 5.0 firmwares?

Yeah, I bought a CC1600 player last year and it still runs great. It's good for playing movies, but the PDF third party application wasn't updated. They don't release anymore firmware upgrades for that chipset anymore, the companies have moved onto newer models.

I still love my M70+. The TEXTREADER ebook reader is excellent (would be better if it was in English for the menus) and I have read tons of books on it. I had mine on the plane last week watching movies.
