Bad news everyone, the factory has inform me that they can only complete and deliver the PREORDER 2 order between the 22nd to the 25th of September. However, some good news is that we will be shipping some PREORDER 2 orders that DID NOT choose GPS option much before that date.

I am also extending the USD$199.50 option until September 14th.

Those that purchased during the preorder 2 for USD$209.50 will be contacted before Friday if they would prefer a $10 refund or a free extra battery.

Ok so let me get this straight. I ordered on August 23rd so technically I was in preorder 1 but I understand due to high demand I've been bumped to preorder 2. I ordered GPS so I should not expect my order to ship until September 25th (optimistically). I believe I paid US$209.50 (I hope you've invested that money wisely) so I'll expect a spare battery too.

So now that you'll all be twiddling your thumbs until the next shipment comes in, in about two weeks, maybe now you have time to chase up Ainol for that P810 firmware I need!

Has anyone actually received one from the first preorder - supposed to mail 8/23 but got delayed?

Thanks for that update. Why was I sent an email saying it mailed out last week?! I thought it was suspicious to receive it the day after opening a support ticket threatening to cancel my order.

Honestly, we just want the truth when we ask these questions - an honest, up front estimate of when to expect it. Telling us what they think we want to hear and failing to follow through with it causes a lot of hard feelings towards the company.

You get tracking when your parcel is packed and the mailing label scanned into our system. Then it gets picked up, processed at the postal facilitate etc.






Please remember if you ordered by normal registered airmail, on average, it does take 2 - 3 weeks to arrive to most people, if you are in SE Asia it takes about 1 - 2 weeks. If you are in S. America it will take 2 - 4 weeks. If you are in Italy it may take 3 - 6 weeks or longer, this depends how moody the Italian postal service is that month and if they will be or in another period of worker strike :P

I guess Americans are just spoiled. LOL I ordered 8/15 and had it ship regular air mail. I will just have to try to find some patience. Would have been nice to have it before my trip next week.

What makes you think their all Americans? Because not many posters have their location displayed. I can remember posts also concerned about the delays from both the Netherlands and New Zealand. I believe there are a number of orders from many parts of the world. Not trying to start an argument here... just sick of all the "American bashing" that occurs on the net. Not like I don't understand where some of it comes from, but just because we DO have a big enough group of 'spoiled, dumb Americans' the rest of us get a bad reputation

Actually USA buyers don't tend to be that fussy or ask too much, i could point out countries where we get the more fussy customers, by fussy i mean they expect a parcel sent by normal registered airmail to arrive the next day or two after they placed the order, but i really don't want to generalize or offend anyone. People are in their right to be fussy, its their money, its my job to 1) make sure you get what you ordered 2) make sure you are happy and 3) reassure people that we will do 1) and 2)
