Hi all,

i have a question regarding Nationite S:Flo2

is it me or all S:Flo2/T51 experiencing this?

why the sorting on this player is so messed up. ok file list can be set by name/time/type
but for directory, album, artist, is soooooooo messed up. seems according to the time they are copied.

is there any way to fix this. currently i'm on 2.20 (with manderin1's Simple theme)

..
for few files it's ok, but now my collection is getting huge, and it's a pain to scroll messed directory..., getting worse by limited scrolling bug.

also wish if teclast would create a search feature for music (id3)

such a shame a good (if not the best) sounding player, but lack of UI development...

... :(

offtopic: is there any S:Flo2/T51 alternative? (that sound at least similar/even better)

hi and im afraid you are stuck with it - its a mess and stops me and my son personally using the player because it annoys the hell out of me - so, only work around is, after you have done all your copying over is to use a program to change the time stamp on the folders and files etc - i think the program is linked in my main sflo2 thread

yes, too bad indeed,

the directory can be solved by drivesort, but the artist, album,... bah... , luckily i'm more of a 'directory' browsing person...
but so many files..... so unmanageable.. bad.bad.bad teclast (not nationite :P).

I know many probably frown on windows media player, but how it tags files seems to work well with the S:Flo2, i also tag my flac with windows media and those files show up in the media database on the S:Flo2.

Hi,can you explain me better how to sort by name (alphabetical order) my directories? Some appear to be in order, others no.And if I browse for albums, the folders' names are changed from the ones I gave them.
Any suggestion?
Thank you.

is this using the file browser or the music library, and do you have music on both sd card and internal memory

the player will not sort folders, only the files within them when you set the sort options in settings
to get all your folders in order you will need to use an external program on the PC to redo the time stamp on the folders, then the player will list them according to that
the media lib wiorks of time copied (i think) and will always make a complete mess, as is the way with this player
try using the file sort program on the PC to redo all your folders and their contents and get the time stamps changed then see what the player does
