plays fine for me

nice one D2K, i actually saw it last night before you posted as i was itching to see it, its a nice screen, i love the screen real estate you gain with he extra resolution, and even though its not 4:3 format the screen res makes up for that by allowing more info on screen

i wont go into it again but battery is an issue for me and will stop me getting something like this,

great review as ever - keep em coming :)

I totally understand, maderin, the battery may be too big an issue for many....but I have to say its really not a deal breaker for me.It really is worth looking for an outlet to use this gem,the hardware simply rocks!

Nice review. I really enjoy the way you go over the features of the Novo 8. I think this is going to be a one of a kind device. However I think Ainol put in a wimpy battery to balance out the cost of the high quality screen. I'm not sure if they will ever fix the battery problem.

I think they just wanted a strong tablet spec wise, and ran out of cash when it came to how to power that powerful hardware....again,the battery isnt a deal breaker, most folks can get by on 2.5 to 3 hours between charges.I know I can :) Playing games on the NOVO 8 are effortless, and movies look great,as do comics, web browsing, the list is endless....definitely worth what you pay for it.
