Slingbox, Hulu, and GPS questions.

Postby daveyman » Fri Dec 03, 2010 9:59 am

Since I'm still eagerly awaiting if anyone has put Pocket Legends on their MIDnite I have another question re: a different app, Slingbox.

Since I have an EVO I know I can view my dvr/television via the Slingbox app and a Slingbox at home. I would like to know if I can do the same with the MIDnite. Also how about Hulu? Anyone try that yet?

Would be nice to see some people try some apps that really push this device as I would like to know how much more it can do.

BTW...one more question, does the GPS work with Android or does it need Windows CE6 like it's sister mid the WITS?

I don't know about slingbox, i thought the slingbox app was only out for ipad/iphone, didn't realize an android port had been completed. I don't have slingbox so can't answer the question on how well it would work on the MIDnite, but as for the GPS it does work with Android.

BTW daveyman i have an answer with you for Pocket Legends, i was able to get the full version off Pocket Legends site (didn't realize that till today, woops), installed fine, but when ever i ran it, it would not start up, it would just go back to the home screen. Not sure what the issue is, but based on the hardware it requires, i would be pretty surprised if the game would not work on it.
