I use DVD Shrink, and viDrop, with no problems on my desktop. I installed both on my new HP Touchsmart. Rips okay, but when I convert with viDrop, it plays choppy on my 787. It's got 4GB of ram, that shouldn't be an issue. It is 64 bit, will that make any difference? On my desktop, I made a shortcut, titled "Idle Processing". I found this on Google once, and it's purpose is to shut down things that run in the background, so when you convert/burn, it won't be interrupted. I made the shortcut with "%windir%\system32\Rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks" as the target. It has worked very well on my desktop. I made the same shortcut on my laptop, but since it's 64 bit, will this shortcut still work? Hope I'm making sense here. Any help appreciated.
