Hi,
I have an Onda767L (4,3") and another Rockchip 2706 noname player (3").
I use Vidrop 0.57 (0.57.4 doesn´t work at all) in the given settings (xvid/mp3/160Kb)
As Preset I use "generic Rockchip 320 (or 400) high".
The sound of the converted video starts synchronic on the Onda and get more and more delayed,
up to a few seconds.
And the same Videos are played correct on the other RK2706 player!
Seems to be a more Onda- than Vidrop-related problem?
Any ideas?
:? :

i started to reply to this when you posted and was going to link up my settings file i use for smooth vids on the OS43 but then i realised that you said the vids play fine on 2706 players so that make smy setting kinda redundant

BTW what is the video size and bitrate, the 767L should be able to play them, have you tried playing it from the SD card, this used to be a good resolution to some video play problems

Hi
finally I found some time to test a little.
It seems to be a a vidrop-preset issue.
Unconverted files are played well and with synchrocic sound.
(like the demo-clips or .flv from youtube)
But all files I convert with “generic rockchip 400x240high” xvid,mp3
have this growing sound-delay (starts about 1 sec. up to 3 sec. after 10min).
Maybe another video- or sound-codec?
For the other 3” rk2706 player I choose 320x240high xvid,mp3 and it works well.
Actually it doesn´t matter any more .... looks like I can sell the 767L ;)
It just maybe a hint for the new owner ... and probably further member of this forum,
so prepare to face this issue again ;)

By the way I used these free, open source clips.

just tried your settings ... it works (nearly) perfect.
Sound-delay is only about barely half a second ... I´ll say "usable" ;)

eh...no, posted too early
with the small files (junk eta + solar) your settings work well.
the big / long ones (buckbunny + elefants) seem to be worse (more delayed) than
with my old settings.
I quit and spend my time more meaningful
:?

It´s a little tool like vidrop , 4MB, many presets for Handys and major brands but not for chinese ones.
(changing language possible)
http://www.xmedia-recode.de/
alternatively I would have tried this (english) one .... but it´s 22MB
http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/dlfull.htm

xvid and wmv work best

The 767L is already auctioned. Mostly I hate these "hard to press" buttons and this extreeeemly
slow scrolling through the folders ... but the worst is definitely the usb "speed" ;)

I seriously consider about the VX777LE, the OS81 or the OS43 but can´t make my decision.
I should ask Raz if I can cancel my still processing PL-20 order (2weeks :( ) and balance it to a new player.
I already have a good, small player (Samsung Q2), so I would tend to the OS43 ... but there are so many
bad threads about it....
