Keep it in a case ( Like the javoedge one) and it should be fine- I've dropped it down a few flights of stairs and it's fine  . You should also have a screen protector. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOME SORT OF CASE OR SCREEN PROTECTOR BEFORE PUTTING IT INTO YOUR POCKET- otherwise it gets scratched to no end. Yeah, I have heard quite a few horror stories of people cracking screens, but it depends on what you do with them and often it also depends on the hardware. It often doesn't matter how good of QC a manufacturer has, there will be some screens that are less durable than others.
