Ah, you guys know how to appreciate pictures?
Now let's delve a little deeper into it... "Nice bass presence without compromising overall soundstage"Buildquality
Feels really sturdy and well made out of high grade materials. Love the modern design. Comfortable over-ear fit.Accessories
Clever detachable velcro pouch that sticks to the red accented black case and includes a short and separate long normal headphone cable, a cable with push-to-talk control, an airplane adapter and a carry strap.Soundquality
Nice basspunch. Not quite as direct as some headphones or IEMs I've tried, but certainly enjoyable and rich. Unlike many headphones the presence of this decent amount of bass however doesn't compromise the overall range like your typical bass-emphasized headphone. Drums have a nice impact. The mids and highs are presented in a very clear fashion, but not too clear to the point where it becomes harsch and unharmonized, as some other headphones tend to do. Some other headphones also tend to sound 'cavey' and distant, but the sound coming from the HM9 surrounds your ears pleasantly and put up a very clear and broad soundstage. Conclusion
I'd say this might just be the perfect allrounder. Well-built and killer looks. It has a nice warm full bodied soundsignature with a pleasant emphasis on bass, yet remains quite clear. This will work well with any kind of music you'll throw at it and perfect for general purposes such as watching series and movies too, which is something I really love. I have a broad taste in music and use a headphone for all kinds of stuff, so headphones well suited for a specific genre is nice, but not as allround. For me the HM9 is a clear winner. Brainwavz done it again. For the buck, this is one hell of a bang. Don't think you can spend your money a better way.
I love the HM9.
