Hi Guys,

This is my first post and my first android tablet so be gentle ! I was watching the forums and saw that the 0110 firmware had been released so I promptly downloaded and flashed my mid. I realised shortly after that there were a lot of pre loaded app's already on the mid from factory that I had just lost. Bugger ah well i'll have to re download them, then I realised that before the flash I could turn my mid and the screen would flip between portrait and landscape, and now I can't. Is this because I haven't loaded a particular software to enable this? I pretty much spend the whole time reading in portrait so its quite irritating not being able to change the screen. All the free auto rotate app's are purely to toggle on or off not to force a particular view and my unlocked full market won't allow me to purchase any paid screen app's.

Thank you for your time

Hi TinTyn!
The link Vincenzo provided is only working for A81E.

Did you flash the "last NodusRom" from Betolley to a A81G?
Than the file "/system/lib/hw/sensors.omap3.so" is already renamed to "sensors.omap3.bak" by Betolley and you will have to rename it back to "sensors.omap3.so" to get Rotation working again.
You will need RootExplorer to do this.
@Vincenzo: You should update the information on your site for the different devices.

I also recommend to use an alternative Launcher like LauncherPro for the full Rotation-Experience.

There is a new Firmware version 110221 out now. If you (like me) have seen the issue that your device often does a sudden Reboot while installing something you may want to flash this new Version.

You can download the preinstalled Apps from Witstech but most of the Apps are old versions:
http://bbs.witstech.com.cn/index.asp?boardid=13
You will find RootExplorer under "Other Tools/Application Software".
The downloaded Rar-files comes without a file extension so you need to add ".rar" to the filename.

The only thing that needs to be upgraded is this, will do it asap. the rest works for all A81 variants

Edit: updated

Nice to hear it worked for you. I was quite sure you flashed the final NodusRom.

@Vincenzo:
I like your Site very much! It provides most everything one needs to know about the Witstech in a compact way and with Version 2 it looks great now. Thanks for this!
