the installation guide says that this firmware is just to correct some bugs on "tv out", and, if your player hasn´t any problem, so you doesn´t need of that.

I had installed because I want to change the font (I´m using the iriver one), and I didn´t detect any big change about the firmware. the old bugs are there and, the new upgrade tool didn´t work on win 7 (as I expected). The tool which came with the img file didn´t work on my XP computer, so, I use another tool from the bbs.imp3.net forum which says it is from RAmos. The steps to upgrade is the same as other rockchip, open the software, load the img file, plug the device, "switch" the mode, and, if the pc discover the player, the upgrade will be automatic.

One thing that I notice was that the files on the flash still there after upgrade the firmware.

a simple update, i remember the T11RK got a very similar update with same so called fixes - bit annoyed we are seeing no fixes here, like with the T11RK - added new apps but failed to fix the next song bug or add in all the known codecs - very annoyed at ramos
