Hello I`m new to the forum...and embarrassed.I bought a onda797hd from *****...I should have bought one from MP4nation.
My unit arrived with a Chinese manual (I live in NZ). Does anyone have any basic operating instructions for this model. **** have not been helpful.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You must first consume before asking for help waima.

Yeah,,, that would suck, I jest. I still haven't gotten mine but I was under the impression that the actual turning on and use of the player was a simple affair.

Any help with basic operating instructions would be much appreciated.
I can turn it on and navigate to the options it has but thats about it.
I tried downloading avi video files to it but cant find them...I am really working in the dark and its frustrating...even the remote is in Chinese..though with trial and error I can get it to do some things....I decided on onda because of their reputation I read from some reviews...little did I know the company is no where to be found when you need help...well you can find them but after their intro page to how wonderful they are and you start digging for help...its all in Chinese...!!
A few critical pages of the (English) manual....would be so much appreciated.

see here
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2419 (in first post near bottom)

there is a manual for the vx545 player which is essentially the same player as the 797 but smaller, that manual should be relevant to a great degfree. als there is a guide/image in the forums with English translation for the remote (which maybe in the manual)
