So there I was, finger poised on button to do the deal.... but.. something in the back of my mind was niggling. Ive been married and have learned not to ignore these little warning signs, so I went and looked at the specs again on MP4nations site. Nothing wrong there.. so what is it?

Finally I expanded the picture of the Flytouch 3, and there I saw in glorious... er... jpg what the niggle was. The picture shows 2 tf ports.

Oh dear. Now I have to ask. Is it really a Flytouch 3? Is it a misplaced Flytouch2 photo? Is it a 2.1 upgrade?

I have seen comparison photos and been told that the "real" Flytouch 3 has only one TF port.

Perhaps you can clear this up for me Raz?

Hi maderin1
Thanks for the welcome.

Im transplanted from Blackpool living in the warmth of Florida. Been watching your mods for a year or so on the players. Respect. (been here 12 years so a little bit of the lingo causes no harm) :)

I have a company that makes a database medical program, we have ported it to the android platform and now I see that ver 3 might not be released open source. Kind of defeats the whole ethos for development. Oh well.

Will wait for someone to answer the question.

Best wishes

Gary.

im sure something was released on the developers site but i wasn't paying much attention

so you are after tablets for testing then, - been thinking of doing some apps for work also, we have a property rental system that we want to add some mini apps to mobiles, the app itself is in flex/flash so does actually run on android via flash but its not ideal at all

anyway, im sure raz will get back on this issue for you

Blackpool to Florida ... quite a change :)

Just came in from clinic and checked the site. Prompt responses! Time differences has its advantages.

Im presuming the flytouch 3 comes with the GPS antenna?... well and whatever else is bundled with it, if anything... I was going to ask on zopim chat but for some reason I cant see it on your site at the moment... Checked on mine and its running and even switched off ad blocker to see if i had hidden it but.. no.

If Im still up when you get chance to respond, I can order, or if not it will be tomorrow. Going to purchase a small portable Fiio probably the 3 because the audio output by all accounts not the best. Yes I wanted bluetooth and I wanted a capacitive screen but... battery time won me over... one year from now we will all be using something radically different.

thanks

Gary

The Deed is done and the purchase has been made.

Had a little trouble with your site today. Took 2 hours to get the pages to load and go through the check out procedure. Timed out a lot. Zopim chat does not come up for me at all. I went through 2 different servers in my Office and the same problem on both. My lines are firing clean on other sites.... passing info on for what its worth.

I want to thank you for the unexpected bonus of a $22 discount, it made the purchase, although very reasonable at your $199 retail price, even more of a bargain with a whole heap of warm and fuzzies to with it.

I did get the S3 Fiio as well just in case what I heard was the reality for the speakers. In any event, as an MP3 player stand alone its got to be value at $20.

Thanks for a great site and great people to share and receive information with.

Gary
