The EP2501 from Epoda Technology Co. Ltd is not only a watch phone, which in itself is a technological feat worthy of praise, it’s also a water-proof watch-phone. Honestly I have a bias for convergence technology that takes into account the little things like water-proofness and durability previously only found in one genre of devices (like a watch) but not in another (like a phone). The 1.45-inch screen is not much use for watching videos, which it supports in MP4 format, but what it lacks in screen size it makes up for in Wi-Fi connectivity and Skype and MSN support, which are, well, pretty awesome. The GPRS and MMS do not hurt either and a built-in 2.0 megapixel camera. Bluetooth? You got it. It’s good to know that while many full-size PMPs are stuck with Windows CE 5.0, the EP2501 is enjoying the benefits of CE 6.0.

I'd like to comment on it (as the specs look pretty great for a watch-phone), but that picture is just horrible. You can barely tell what the thing looks like. Because you have to admit, some of those watch-phones can be pretty foul looking!

as far as watch phones go it looks fairly slim and sleek... im impressed with everything they have in there for that size.. what im wondering is how do you control everything... i mean i dont see any controls and its a small screen ... but i have to admit i am intrigued by its design...

i really can't see too many people using this, the screen is just too small for wm, unless they have some customized skin, its going to be too hard to use.

Even if you did use this for checking you emails and stuff, you'll probably end up straining your eyes a lot.

see now that looks a bit classy, i don't like most of the cell phone watches that are out there, most are bit fugly looking

I was just taking a bit closer look at the "nice watch". I'm wondering if that's Russian text on there. I took a few years of Russian but I can't quite make out the first letter.

Just curious as I don't see many Russian manufacturers or distributors make it to the main-stream tech market.

picture a winmo6 watchphone with touchscreen using pointui mod... just flick your finger around the screen to bring up different things ... that would be bad ass... luckily for me i dont have to worry about how big it would be... i need to wear at least a submariner size or bigger or a watch looks like a ladies watch on my wrist...
