Hello.

I have received a new Onda Vx767 bought on mp4 nation, but i am
somewhat disappointed.

First, I didnt receive the wall charger or the free gift. I have sent an
email to the importation company which made the importation and
bought the toy for me. I would like to ask the help of Raz, our
administrator, in case the person in charge of the operation try to
get in contact to you, on his task of inquire what happened.

Even more, after check the buy order (14979) i have realized they
made a mistake, since they choose the fm transmitter + car charger
instead of the mofi carying case (my choice).

Anyways, as i told i didnt receive neither gift or wall charger.

Second, I have realized the ebook reader of the VX767 doesnt
shows accented letters, or the spanish letter Ñ. Even more, I has
troubles showing some normal letters, like the letter M, which is
shown as a some sort of rectangle.

This is important to me because i use the ebook reader frequently,
and the texts i use are in english and in spanish.

I am not sure what is going to be the destiny of my new player.

My old VX757 made me very happy, but since Onda now is not
supporting other idioms than Chinese (and poorly english) it
seems it is time to move to another brand

I am begining to be interested on the Ainol V3000

Please would someone tell me if it has support for accented letters
(á, é, í, ó, ú), and support for the letters Ñ and ü?

Finally, after i ordered the VX767, i read in a forum that the rockchip
based players use to have zoom with scroll functions on the photo
viewer. Does the Ainol V3000 have such additional functions on the
photo viewer?. I am thinking or supposing it could be something
like the zoom and scroll functions digital cameras have when are
being used to review the already taken photos.

There are several threads about how a bad reader vx767 is:

I also wasn't able to show spanish characters, and even reading in english it is not a good reader (looses the bookmark, hard to navigate through the ebook, bad fonts and background ...). I gave up reading with this device.
If you are still willing to use it, you may try converting the ebook files to images, and use the picture viewer as reader. Read this tutorial:

About the E-books:

As I'm still waiting for the VX767, I'm not sure if it will work, but in the VX787 the problem was solved to change the codification from ANSI to UNICODE. Try that and let me know if it works! If not, I will sell the VX767 when it hits my door! :P

same issue. I agree it is not a good reader.

I think i will have to search another player.

I have tried unicode, but have not success. Accented letters, the letter
ü and the Ñ are not shown

It seems you like a lot to try different players... Would you suggest me
a player with good ebook reader (accented letter support, letter Ñ), and
zoom with scroll to watch the photos. Touch screen players are the last
option for me, since i use my player when i ride my motorcycle and i need
buttons.
