does your PC still recognize your player when it is connected? Have you tried the reset button?

Can you also tell us how you bricked your player

just want to confirm that your player did come with V1.01 firmware correct and not the older firmware?

please can you check what how large the parition of the player that is showing up is, it may actually be the firmware partition if its about 80mb in size

When you upgraded to 1.03 did you delete all the existing folders and files then copy all the individual folder across to the firmware partition.

As it is not accepting either the rkusb.tag file or the setup file I think that it means the firmware was not complete or corrupt for some reason.

In my opinion I think you will have to use the Device Manager application and the Teclast firmware to recover but lets wait for Admin or Maderin1's opinion.

You will be able to recover the player but let's see what's the best way.

no don't reformat or remake the partition, just see how large the memory space is on the drive that is showing up when you connect it to your PC.

If the total memory of that drive is 90mb or less, then it is the firmware partition, just copy the extracted firmware files from V1.03 onto it and restart your player.

ok that is the normal part of the memory, please try and copy the RKusb, tag file back onto your player, then disconnect your player from your PC and use a pin to push down the reset button.

Connect back the player and let us know if you now see two drives, one with 7.6GB of memory and another with about 80mb of memory
