im currently running 1.8, and i want to know if theres a version of firmware that the scroll bar is still there instead of the two buttons you have to tap over and over, hopefully itd be 2.2, instead of 1.7, i really dont wanna go back to that just for a scroll bar, but i think its so much better than that button thing they have now.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but v2.2 still has the two buttons. One thing I did notice back on v1.8 is that you CAN actually scroll in the menu's where you have your actual music of video files but I don't think you can scroll the directories. Simply slide your finger up and down where your music or video files are listed and you can quickly move through the list that is showing.

Nope, I don't think there is. We'll just have to wait for ONDA to realise we want scrollbars not buttons!

Well there is some good news regarding this, if you scan in all you're radio stations and then enter the menu to look at the list you will find that the scrolling bar from the initial release is still used but perfected.

They have also found a way to make the volume slider work perfect now.

Now that this has been perfected and they have implemented this technology in the VX777LE, I believe we will have full scrolling in the next release, especially as this is the number one complaint in the Chinese market to which they have been paying special attention.

Sorry MStandar, I do not think I made that very clear, the music and other main menu's still have the buttons.

What I was trying to say is that they left the scrollbar in the pre-set radio station list but improved it by making it more responsive and very smooth, just like the volume slider.

Given the fact that they are now able to do this and the scrolling menus on the VX777LE, I think it is only a matter of time before we see the scrollbars back in the menus or better still, fully scrolling menus without the scrollbars.

After trying it again myself, I could not find it either but I knew it was there so I downgraded to 2.0 then back to 2.2 and then I found the scroll bar again

When in the radio select pre-set it opens the list with a scroll bar in the right that works nice and smoothly, it even works with an empty list.

EDIT: In version 2.0 , version 2.2 the scroll bar is replaced by buttons ????
