yes - thats for the BASIC as the chip maker has full rights to use android 3.x, also they are currently porting over ICS to this chip

this is somewhat 2week old news but anyways...

i have the Advanced model and the it's getting ICS update as well really soon

actually... almost if not all the new allwinner based Tablets are getting a ICS update

Thanks for that link.

We were informed yesterday from Ainol that the Novo7 Advanced production has been stopped, but i wonder if its a temporary thing untill ICS is ready for the A10 or if they really are just focusing on a MIPS tablet line up.

That ainol website is so hard to understand, why isn't any english version of that site....it's almost impossible to decrypt those pages.

who would download such a file , it's triple the size of windows xp pro setup kit. :|

there is no English version as Ainol do not sell or support markets outside china for their Ainol range, even so the site is crap
now, im sure that file is not compiled firmware, it must be a full source file dump for that size

I agree, 1.2gb is huge and normally android gives itself only 1gb for the space the actual OS resides in.
