Info: http://product.pcpop.com/000301607/Index.html Release date says Dec. 2010

Yep, the C60 I assume is the successor the the C30/NaNite N2 and it comes bundled with Cube's F5 earbuds (not in-ear!?). Well, it's the first player with a portrait screen orientation that I've seen in a while and I'm curious to see what the UI will be like. In terms of looks/design, I think it's a bit of a downgrade from the C30, though. And the C30 looks like more of an on-the-go type of device, imo. Can't find any specs other than that ad from Cube above. Anyone want to translate?

I like the design of this more than the c30 however these seems to support a lot less than the N2. Only MP3 and WMA :( http://product.pcpop.com/000301607/Detail.html
8GB for $74.

That doesn't seem right to me. Spending $74 and getting only MP3 and WMA? It would seem like a waste of the BBE implementation and whatever other hardware it has if it only supports those two formats.

If it's downgrade, why bother?

Exactly, but seeing as how there doesn't seem to be much info on this thing, I'm guessing that info is incomplete or something. I mean, it wouldn't make much sense to release the C60 at a higher price but support less formats than the C30...

I played around with the C60 prototype about 2 months back and it was quite nice, but the firmware was very early, i suspect that the file limitation right now is just a result of the firmware still needing a lot of work. I am interested in this model, but i'll be giving it a more serious interest after some fw updates to fix some of its larger bugs.

BTW it does feel like a nice device, it is well built and the metal buttons give it a nice touch.

I like the looks of it. Nice and flat.

I like the look but it seems to be lacking in the feature department.

time will tell I suppose.
