My VX777 works perfectly, but there is something I don't understand; it seems as if the speaker turns itself on. Sometimes, even when I ticked it 'off' in the System Set menu, it turns on after a few minutes. It shortens the battery life and people around me might be annoyed by the sound. So, how to turn it off once and for all??

Does it has option to turn off when you are playing? I mean not in the system, Some player has option in the playing mode. You can turn off by clicking the speaker icon.

SO the music from the speaker comes on even if the earphones are plugged in, if so then you may have a loose connection.
