"the 7-incher is capable of 2160p HD video playback, which means a whopping display resolution of 3840 x 2160."

no it doesn't, the display resolution will still be 1024x600 or whatever. it just means that the hardware is able to decode video of that resolution.

My apologies there! Got a bit muddled up with decoding capabilities and actual screen resolution, which I don't think has been mentioned by Ainol yet? :S

Fixed it up proper this time. Thanks again for the help!

And so we've come full circle...back to the HD Wars of 2009-2010.

That's a pretty nice looking PM...sorry...tablet, though.

but their site claims F10 and F15 PMP chips - which rings of another rebrander sochip chips, i had a feeling this was from the same factory as the sochips .. i think it maybe - but thats just me and my gut feeling

The A1X does appear to be a full-on integrated SoC in the grand tradition of SoChip.

Tablet hardware has already started to plateau so its inevetable that the marketing gears start to chuck other things out.

Marketing aside it isnt a bad thing that there will be tabs that are as good as sochip media players, the rk29 already does a good job but something on the lines of a sochip wwoud be awesome.

thats 4 so far, all in quick succession - now, one wonders why they are all getting so excited, either it is a shit-hot system and they all cant wait to release it OR is cheap .. either way there is a mad rush to get these out there, hopefully our intrepid team at mp4nation can get their mucky little hands on one of these and give us the lowdown

Wow, to be honest if these claims are true this really is bananas. Would be interested to know about how much RAM on these devices and obviously whether the Android ports are up to much. If any of these get Ice cream sandwich eventually and come in cheap we could be onto something very interesting.

Love they way the the bMorn appears to be running HTC sense in that pic.
