So, I just got my ProAlpha's back from RMA, the orignals came with some nice sony hybrid style tips(3 sizes), the replacements came with 1 set of tips that look like the promo shot tips and are VERY uncomfortable, more of a course silicon/rubber then the ones that came with my orignal set.
I was just wondering if the tips have changed between orignal shipments (I got mine from amazon earlier this yea).
part of why I have been recommending brainwavz to people has been the wonderful tips my original set and the sets a few of my friends have gotten via amazon.com and amazon.co.uk, they are very very high quality sony hybrid style tips(tho im sure they are knockoffs)
Also note, my return set has a dent and scuff on the right ear peice that dosnt effect sound quality, but makes them look a bit abused, not that Im really upset, just kinda surprised that I got back a dent and scuff set that only came with 1 set of rather abysmal tips.
Still love the sound quality of the proalpha, Even over my turbines that are under rma(2 bad sets in a row, wish they would stop sending me untested referbs as replacements...but thats monster for you, poor quality assurance testing FTL....
Again Thanks for any info you can give me on this, I would just like to know if this is "the norm" or if i just happened to get a set off the shelf from a preproduction run or something like that, part of the selling point for alot of people I have had buy brainwavz is the truly wonderful tips they where coming with.(that and my saying that i have had good support despite the 1 failed set

)
