you can use them, or any kind of 4:3 wallpapers you download on the net, no matter the picture size, it'll work.

Unfortunately the SmartQ's firmware is not easily hackable, so I'm hoping to get people to share their more interesting wallpapers since we can't have themes. Below is a custom one I did in Fireworks. It will give you a nice backing for the main menu. Hopefully SmartQ will someday allow the screens to be different in the file selection screens for Music, Video, etc., since this wallpaper is really only designed for the main page.

actually not a bad idea, it seems to be a easier way to get your own custom theme, well at least for the main menu

for some reason that background reminds me of the start menu of the old game called Lemmings
