Help! I want to downgrade my vx787

Hi, I was really hoping to downgrade my VX787 from 4.1 to 3.7 because I heard that this version has a scroll feature in the Music, Album and Artist section however I have been unable to do this or find a guide on how to do it. I figured the scroll feature is more important than album art in my opinion as I have over 3000 songs on the player. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
