yea i read that to, Thats crazy that it seems to have the official firmware and is recognized as a zune by his computer.

yeah...that's really too bad. Sometimes a bargain isn't always a bargain. I still think the best Zunes are the old brown bricks (30 gig). You can pick those up for $115 new on Ebay if you look. Bought one for my wife and she loves it.

well from the forum discussion where this was originally posted, it seems that the person might have got a refurb that didn't meet quality standards and someone just made a poor replica box for it to sell it.
