So i got a sample of the VX767, Onda still haven't made the packing, not a manual or even the power charger that will come with the player, so we literally got the player wrapped in bubble wrap in a express courier bag with only the TV out cables.

This is a good player, the screen is large, but the overall design still gives it a compact feel. It isn't very heavy, it is well balanced, the finishing, like all Onda players, is good.

TV Out, well like most people probably assumed, this wasn't going to spit out HD quality videos, but the video out quality is still good. I would say its VCD quality, meaning its very viewable but not DVD type quality. The video playback performance when set to video out is the same as when watching the video on the players screen. The firmware that is being used for this player has far more zooming options for videos, so you can pretty much be able to fit any video into your preferred aspect ratio.

Very nice video review there admin. Seems like I was the first one to see it, woohoo :) But it would be nice if you could make it a bit brighter in the video.

It's a very good player, I'd want one too. Just a pitty it's not touch screen and there's no external speaker. But that would not prevent this one to become a hot player I think, especially with TV out feature.

ahhh, not bad, but was hoping for ID3 tag brwsing, a decent font and at least 640x480 res on the Tv out, have to give this one a miss I think. Real shame as these are pretty standard things to include.

You would need some big pockets. This would be something that you would carry in your bag, i mean it could fit in a pocket, but it would be a tight fit. It is smaller than a PSP.

This looks like a nice player. I especially like the screen format display change functionality. I'm getting tired ofthe 3" screen now and would like a 4.3" screen. Will keep this player in mind.

Well i tried a HD Xvid of the latest episode of Battlestar Galatica (great show), the file was 350mb in size and is pretty HiQ. It played fine, better than i have seen on the V2000SE. It seems that the firmware now has someway of quickly correcting the video when the audio goes off sync. This didn't happen often, but when it did happen the player quickly stopped the video for less than a sec and the audio was back in Sync.

However i do want to note, i did rewatch the episode again and i noticed that the lip sync issues happened at the exact same spot as they happened when i first watched the video.

BTW i've been using the player over the weekend, so far on one full charge i have been able to watch two full movies, 4 - 42min TV shows and about 6-7 22min TV shows - the battery indicator still has another bar left. I am not sure what battery they are using for this player, but it lasts a long time.
