It’s not a pretty or exciting picture but it certainly could display a few.
The ZMS-08 media processor chip is Creative’s ZiiLABS’ step toward getting Blu-ray quality on handheld devices.
It provides full HD 1080p H.264 decoding and simultaneous H.264 encode and decode at 720p, along with 1080p 24fps encode.
It also has the multi-media processing capabilities of the ZiiLABS StemCell systems with a 1GHz ARM Cortex processor.
The chip supports OpenGL ES 2.0 3D graphics as well as Xtreme Fidelity X-Fi audio effects.
The first bulk ship-outs are expected early 2010.

well, let's wait and see

that PMP from the nvidia tegra demo on youtube looked very impressive but has nothing to do with how the zune HD turned out, hopefully they will implement this chip better and take full advantage of it's capabilities, creative soundcards are known for their excellent SQ so this should be promising
