The Icoo V616 has had an upgrade and now sports a Rockchip RKnano chip as part of its guts.
It supports MP3, WMA, ASF, WAV and APE/FLAC lossless formats and has 7 EQ modes powered by Microsoft PlayFX.
There’s also a variety of playback modes including single cycle, random and catalog circulation but it’s the new chip that’s the talking point on this model.
Playback is alleged to be 20 hours and it also supports recording and an e-book display.
Memory’s 2GB and it costs 99 yuan (a snap at around $15).
