Hi, only recently got the OS 72 as I read these forums and decided it would be great to read all the e-books I have in PDF format.

I upgraded the firmware and installed the PDF reader application. I can start up the reader just fine, but I have trouble scrolling through files and folders. It seems I can only select the first and last option!

Also, when I do load a pdf (the first one I am able to select, by default!) it takes a REALLY long time to load. After it loads, it's fine, but then I can't toggle through the options to zoom, etc.

It's very frustrating and confusing, especially since I can't read Chinese!

Should I just delete the pdf reader application and install it again? Has this happened to any of you as well?


Also I also wanted to say that I'm so happy with my purchase! The video is great, the audio is okay, it's difficult if you're trying to listen to classical music on the player though, especially piano pieces. All of my music is organised into folders, so now I can make sense of it without dealing with ID3 tags and playlists. Hooray!

the PDF reader is a third party aplication developed by coders so is unofficial
anyway, when scrolling through lists ib this application you need to use the volume controls on the side of the player
large files will take a while to load, especially if they have images in them, smaller files are faster

which version did you install, the one from my thread on apps??

no need to delete it and redo it yet
