I'm in the market for a new MP3/MP4 player after my ipod nano died... cursed expensive apple products no more!

Anyways, coming from an Ipod, I'm mainly worried about playlist organization for music. I had on my ipod at least 3 playlist and found it very important in navigating my music. But having browsing through the sites and several reviews, theres not much mention of playlist creation and function...

I know that several players like the V2000 for example will let you select out of your library which songs you want to add to the music player. But can you create more than 1 list? And can you have a selection of songs, but also have the option to play All the songs in the player?

Also I've heard the meizu m6 have a GUI similar to that of the Ipod and will have playlist creator similar to it as well... correct me if I'm wrong. Are there other players out there with a playlist creator function like that of an ipod or the m6?

Thanks for any help :D can't wait to get my hands on one of these

On another note, right now I'm most interested in the
V2000, M6, x750 or the RM850
I'm getting the player mainly for music and maybe some videos like southpark or family guy while I'm on the bus
Any suggestion or comments?

Hi there,

Welcome to the MP4Nation forum!

Meizu players allow for creation of music playlists. You can also choose all songs in the settings, choose song order, or have it play random tracks. You can organize your music in a number of ways. I own an M3 and have an M6 on order; just waiting for it to be delivered.

I'm a big fan of the Meizu line. If you're coming from the world of Apple/iPod, you will find the Meizu interface very easy to get used to quickly. It looks and acts quite similar to an iPod's. But, Meizu players have more features than iPods.

I have heard-- but cannot say for sure-- that the M6 isn't the best for videos. However, Meizu players are known for their stellar audio quality, and that I can vouch for. My M3 sounds awesome.

I don't own any of the other players you mentioned, so I am not sure about their capabilities. I'm sure owners of these players will chime in though.

The meizu line has the best audio quality hands down. If all you are going to do is watch cartoons, then the video quality is good enough for that. Actually the video is good enough for watching a movie every so often. I actually used my M6 for watching full length videos for awhile, but decided I needed something better and a bigger screen (not that the 2.4" screen is bad).

Don't count out the creative and intuitive playlist creating that the jxd 301 offers.

mp4nation have started selling the Ainol V900 that runs the new Actions chip (ATJ2135)
4GB player @ $88.50 - (good price as my 2gb version cost 99$ :( )

http://www.mp4nation.net/products/index.php?PID=v900

this has playlists (5 only though)
has music database sirted by Album, Artist, Genre and personal star rating system

not as advanced as Apple etc but it does the job well

it has 5 playlists because they are built into the player, when entering the playlist function they are there, ready and waiting for you to input the songs, and a nice feature is that there is a built in virtual keyboard so you can rename the lists in the player.

you can add individual songs to a list or add all songs from an album, an artist a genre etc - but i found this problematic as when i connected to pc it cleared out the playlists, but only when adding multiple songs at once, playlists created a song at a time were ok though and all playlists remain during power off and on

very good player and hopefully some minor bugs will be fixed with an update from Ainol

Look do your self a favor and get a Teclast T39 it has Playlist Support, Cover Art, Photo Touch Motion, Touch Screen, Dual Core Telechip & Wolfson & one of the best sounding players on the market.

Look I have over 15 players a Meizu M6 SL, ipod, I have a player with the new Actionchip ATJ2135 I had this back in May.

But I tell you the Teclast T39 is one of the best players for your money. You can get 2GB 4GB or 8GB.

Thats the Truth I'm telling you what I know!

so mrmp4 .... do you work for teclast or what, i must say your passion is verging on obsessive, almost every post you have made to date is about the T39, i know it is a good player and all that but i am feeling a little scared here, like your holding us all hostage until we buy a one!!!

only joking - i dont have a T39 so i could not comment, but what is "Photo Touch Motion" exactly???
