After the Ainol V2000 and the JXD 301, I was hoping that there would be an influx of new and improved players with gaming emulation as a more run-of-the-mill feature. However there hasn't really been anything released since to compare to the above mentioned players.

Does anyone know if there are plans to include game emulation as a feature in new Chinese players?

The GP2X F-200 looks superb, but the rechargable AA batteries are a real turn-off, so that leaves the PSP as an option if we aren't going to get game emulation on future players.

Well the ingenic JZ4732 chips are all supposed to be capable of handling 32bit games, like the ADI chipset, just no player has come out with this chip with game emulation capability. So until Ingenic releases a firmware that allows for console emulation, you will have to stick with the player that are still available that use ADI chipsets.

However some Sunplus players do come with NES emulators.

AND our own Nationite players will be able to play games :)

hey its no different for me, every time i get the spec sheet for a player using the Ingenic chip, they almost always state the chips gaming ability and i am always like 'Yes finally its coming with game emulators' but sure enough it never does and i am always told that future firmware updates will add the game capability

i dont know why thats such a turn off for all you guys

all i know is that my player never runs out of power

i mean, i can charge 7 or 8 hours of video/gaming power in an hour, but since i can charge only two batteries and dont need to do 4 at once, again, i never run out of power really

and if the "battery" goes dead, i purchase a new set for a couple of bucks and replace it never jeopardizing the player

i mean, i can have like 24 hours of power for what? 30 bucks?

yeah, thats a real turn off

you spoiled americans!!!

(and im playing my @$$ off, never realize how fun games the whole gameboy family were, how well design the pc engine ones were, and a long etc. i was not longer playing to anything till this arrived)
