maderin1, I also have onda vi40 and the interface looks a little laggy compared to the onda, despite the quad core cpu. I think it's all about optimisation, because with new firmware the tablet works better, but still not ideal. I heard it has some problems with perfomance in 3D games but I don't checked this case. Also the tablet is pretty hot when I'm browsing or watching video.
Raz, free brainwavz is great and they completely settled the confusion
Normally it is always the software that lacks well implementation that causes these tablets to under perform, but thats why places like slatedroid and dragondev are so good and needed.
I agreed, but one of our developer bought one the lite version, he immediately told me not worth to spend time to make custom rom, due to some hardware issue, even the stock firmware won't solve the problem.
I would recommend for the RK3066 and RK3188 devices . also, some AMl devicese has long term custom rom support on DragonDevs.
check it out the latest CyanogenMod 10.2 release exclusively on dragonDevs, [rom] CyanogenMod 10.2 for Ainol / Zenithink AML8726MX devices by ChristianTroy. http://dragondevs.com/index.php?/topic/ ... x-devices/
