Did anyone managed to run skype app? I constantly get "We're sorry, but We couldn't sign You in" message.

MIDnite doesn't have a microphone. That rules out voice calls using skype. One possibility is to use BT mic, but i guess that doesn't work on stock 0831. I experimented with my stereo BT headset w/ mic but MIDnite didn't pick up the voice and kept rebooting. I have seen similar behavior reported somewhere in the forum. Unless you are going to use skype exclusively for chat, I don't see a need for it immediately.

Yeah, I use it only for chat. For now I use Nimbuzz which interestingly doesn't download for me from the Market - I had to install it from their website.

How about use the headphone with mic? will that work?

The device has not input interface for mic. The only one way is to try to use BT headset for voice communication via Skype-like apps.

it crashes when you try to use bluetooth mic for recording, not sure if it'll work for anything else.

I've tested fring, 3CX and others with the same result:
as soon as a call is connected the application (or tablet) crashes/locks.
