Do ProAlfa sound clear, transparent , saturated.
  • Do ProAlfa sound clear, transparent , saturated. There is a scene felt width . Very clear high , middle, and juicy , that would say there is not a review , there is bass . Excellent heard how good acoustic drum stands on the stage and left the singer in depth. :) But if you like a deafening bass , this model will not fit ! If generally speaking , then ProAlfa balanced sound . Some listeners sensitive to frequencies of 12 kHz - 18 kHz , these headphones may seem intrusive. After a long listening fatigue appears .

A distinctive feature as the more expensive models of this brand - reliable twisted (! ) Cable. Elastic , not tied up in knots .

Pro Alpha, I think I love you.
  • It's been a while since I posted my last review, here. Well, let's try to help a bit with impressions about the (almost) whole Brainwavz family!

Since Raz started me on the game, sending me my first pair of Alphas as a gift, with a brand new S:flo, I've been keeping an eye on their earphones and growing in knowledge together with the brand.

Now, I can proudly say that I know almost every earphone they sell. The exceptions are M3, M4 and the 3 new kids, S1, R3 and Delta. I had Alpha, Pro Alpha, Beta V1, Beta V2, M1 and M2 at same time.

I will start the new reviews talking a little bit about my precious Pro Alpha.

At fist, I didn't gave them the proper attention, because I had M1 and M2 to keep my mind and ears very busy. Maybe the fact that Pro Alpha looks so much like the Alphas (the cheapest one so far), I was tempted to leave it behind in behalf of the more expensive ones. And I finished up selling it to a friend...

    It was a huge mistake!

Luckly, I'm a "bargain" addicted, and recently Raz throw some coupons that was really hard to left behind.

By the time it came on the mail, I was in deep love with the SoundMAGIC E30, and the only thing holding me back to say they were my perfect IEM was because of the bass ammount: it was a little too much to my ears! And that's why I wasn't using my M2 that much. Too much bass makes me sick... lol

Then I tried the Pro Alphas and... OMG! I felt so dumb! I had them in my room for about 3 months and I never gave them the proper listening time! I needed to buy it twice to realize it was the perfect combination of sound signature and comfort in one package! A cheap package! 45 bucks is a steal for this IEM!

I think they have the perfect amount of bass and treble, never sounding harsh, and the perfect midrange to complete the party! A little peak on 2 to 3khz, but luckly (again), it does not bother me at all!

After some time on this hobby, I discovered that musicians have a different understanding about audio equipments and audiophile slangs, so, I'll pass from normal reviews for just my excitment about the gears I use.

That said, I can open my heart and tell you: It is not about the price! It is about how much it fills you with the blessing of music! And Pro Alpha scored a goal! I can listen to it on really low volumes, at night, in my bedroom, or louder on the streets, it never sounds sibilant, or harsh, or whatever! It sounds just right to me!

Not to mention the "more than generous" amount of accessories, and the best hard case I ever saw in this hobby (even better than the tiny Westone case that comes with W4r)!

Congratulations Raz and all Brainwavz family!

To me, the Pro Alpha is a keeper! My number one IEM since I got them again!

The Undestroyable
  • I dont wanna write about the sound quality, others already did that (its awsome by the way). But now I wanna write about its durability. I have been using it for almost a year now and its still like a new one. The tangle free cable is very practical, the jack is massive, the cable is strong. So I really recommend the Pro alpha to those people who cant treat his stuffs like a Fabergé egg. This durability will be definitely a criterion in my next inear purchase.

BRAINWAVZ ProAlpha
  • İt was my first Brainwavz.First , build quailty is very impresive and it cames with lots of accessories which is include many different size of tips.

Cable is very useful and it doesnt have memory.I think best cable ı every used for İEM.

I have also Brainwavz R1.ProAlpha is more confortable than R1 and I guess it has more colorful and vivid sound than R1.

But unfortunately my pairs right side has driver flex.after %80 of volume , sound starts to clicking.

Generaly it is very decent İEM for this price

Great IEM for low price
  • Amazing price/quality ratio.
    Pros:
    -Good build quality
-Durable , tangle-free cable and plug
    -Lots of accessories
-Balanced sound with deep bass and detailed mids
-Decent soundstage and separation for IEMs
    -Good isolation
-Pretty comfortable when worn over ear
    Cons:
Duble-flange tips do not fit good to sleeve and are loose

I reccomend them for everyone. I've tried variety of iems and these offers best sound quality, durability and accesories. They can be easily compared with much more expensive headphones.

ProAlpha great headphones
  • These headphones come with a small carrying case which is really useful.
    Also, some tips are provided.

Their sound is good. Given its price I think there are better options if they only thing you are looking for is sound quality. For example the Brainwavz R1 dual dynamic headphones.
But these pair of ProAlphas are absolutely easy to wear, confortable and their tied cable is superb.

Great headphones to use outdoors were the quality is not required to be super.
Even with that, it's quite decent. Soundstage is big, and bass is not very accurate but quite powerful

Reliable build quality and great sound for a moderate price
  • Bought them more than a year ago and they are still working.
The cable is really great, it remained unbroken for almost a year.
The plug is not that great as the cable, but it lasted somewhere about six month. (which is pretty good result too)

Sound quality is excellent for the price. Bass is good.
Soundstage is not that wide, as, for instance, SoundMAGIC PL30 model has. The middle and high frequencies are balanced, sound clear and plain.

Natural and rich sounding earphones
  • These are rich natural sounding earphones that can provide a lot of pleasure with listening
proAlpha's sound signature is: rich, musical, natural, detail and clear, with well presented wide sound stage and good vocals
The build quality is also above average
Cons: lacking in deep well finished bass
(5 stars in this price range, overall 4 stars)
If you're not bass addicted, but looking for a natural sounding IEM's with good vocals then proAlpha is a very good choice for the price
