I've already written review on m5 without a mic(my conclusion: excellent iem's for punchy bass-lovers(but mids and highs also good for 50$) with best build quality of Brainwavz), so now I want to check microphone quality on m5's and controlTalk. Mic quality is pretty good, clear voice and without distortion(5/5). Disappointly, control has not volume buttons, You can only pause/resume playback(single click) and play next track(by double click). Surprisingly, M5's compatible not only with Apple devices, but with my notebook and Android phone(controlTalk is working), instead of my old headset.Overall

Ordered it yesterday, got it today in less than 24 hours! Awesome fast Fedex shipping to Singapore. Been using it for the past few hours and I must say I'm very satisfied with the product. I'm hearing sounds I've never noticed before in my music before, and it makes the experience much more enjoyable!Overall
The microphone works well too. I'm able to use the button to control my music playback on my Android device.
Cords wise, similar to the other reviews listed, I do find the cords rather flimsy compared to other earphones I've used previously.

look-wise mic looks el-chepo but works great
the L/M ear-tips are good but the small ones were hard to apply...hardware wise, poor quality compared to the soundmagic pl-21 i owned earlier...
now about the sound.... highly satisfied with the sound quality...bass is good to, not too good but i don't mind as i'm not a bass maniac... but requires some burn-in first... you wont like the earphone in the first time but gradually sound will improve significantly.

Living in Canada. Arrived 1.5 day after ordering. No tax/duty and etc, just paid $49.50. Nothing I worried happened. Comply foam does not fall out, remote works good, microphone works fine, everything is good. Cannot speak for sound quality, know nothing about it. Though during first 10 seconds the ears were unbalanced but after a while it become balanced, awesome. Thank you for offering this extremely urgent grade fedex shipping. Shipped fast, arrived without damage to package. Cords are thin and flimsy, similar to discount store earbud cords. Sound- Very similar to my M2's, at least while riding a noisy Harley at 80 MPH.Overall
This is my third set of Brainwavs, happy in past with M1's and M2's. The M5's attracted me because of the on cord control, an asset when riding a motorcycle with iphone stuffed in a pocket. However, I doubt the cord will survive very long, even though I take care to prevent accidental snags. Will look at them again in the morning and decide if I'll return them or not.
