- balanced sound and affordableReview by KL

The M1 has a fairly balanced sound with a warmish tone. Good mid-bass, not too little or too much, but the bass notes are a little too thick sounding for my liking. Mids have decent detail and reasonable clarity. Highs are smooth sounding but I wish they were a bit more forward.Overall
The shells are a little small for someone with big fingers, and I can forsee that when someone pulls them from the ear, they will pull via the cable instead of the shell, of course this could add stress to the cable over time. The cable itself has good thickness and looks very sturdy, however it tends to curl up quite a bit and it has average microphonics.
I find that a lot of earphones in the same price bracket as the M1 have similar traits, the sound is not top of the line or at the bottom, it doesn't really excel at anything but they are very pleasing to the ear. (Posted on 5/9/13) - Great valueReview by Akash

Good build quality and great sound at a low price, great purchase. (Posted on 4/23/13)Overall - Excellent IEMsReview by Julian

For the price, these are probably the best you can get. Their tone is great, with good mids and highs, and good bass. They come with Comply foam tips as well, which is a great bonus.Overall
They served me well for a year, after which they wore out from daily use - their only problem is the lack of strain relief on the cups, so after heavy use the wire will break. I've since gone with Fischer Audio DBA-02s, which sound better but not the price difference better. These have exceptional value, and I recommend them highly. Can't believe a person can get such clear bass thumping monitors for such a steal! Also, the sound separation is at par with IEM's priced over $50. Absolutely in love with them.Overall
Didn't like the comply tips but others are very comfortable to wear and one can surely find the right fit easily.
It took 1 month after order that these babies were delivered but it was worth the wait. Would surely recommend to many. (Posted on 4/4/13) - Loving ItReview by Sara Lje

Had this pair for a few months already, and honestly they are amazing. It took a while for them to burn it but once they did the sound quality is so good. Definitely worth every cent I paid. Very balanced sound, great bass support! The build is very good too. For someone who damages their earphones constantly, the hard casing and tough build of the cables are a great bonus. Would 100% recommend for a non-audiophiles with a tight budget, like me (: (Posted on 4/1/13)Overall - Excellent Product. Very good soundReview by Sergej

Лучшие в этой ценовой категории. Сделано очень качественно. Всё на высоте .Звук просто отличный.
Отлично держатся в ушах - не выпадают, как другие. Можно смело бегать, заниматься спортом и не боятся, что выпадут.

I use these headphones with the player Sansa Clip +. Headphones are great: great worked upper and middle frequencies. But the bass is all praise - they are just great! I advise everyone! (Posted on 3/17/13)Overall - Very goodReview by Sergey

After having lived with them a few months i can say that these are probably the best IEM's i've ever owned. The sound, comfort and build quality are all unmatched for the price, and that's without all the additional accessories mp4nation provided with them.Overall
Shipping took a while, but i guess that's the price you pay for free shipping. Overall i'd say that these IEM's are an absolute steal. (Posted on 1/27/13) - Great productReview by Shivam

Very happy with my pair. Wanted something to listed to some tunes on the train/before bed and they do not disappoint. Great fit and great sound. Much better than the stock SGS2 headphones which are really quite good.Overall
Good value, build quality is realy good and overall a nice product. Would have no hesitation to recommending. (Posted on 11/2/12) - Price, Clarity, Details and Build.Review by Anton

My first IEMs was Sennheiser cx400. I found them overpriced and low-detailed. This was my first step from low-quality audio. Then I bought Sennheiser IE6. These earphones have good overall(a little dark) sound balance, they was very good performer in classic music, but i was dissapointed with speed metal and swing, found sound a muddy and low-contrast. So, after M1 I sayd them "Bye!'.Overall
M1 are more-detailed, excellent performer in speed, contrast music. Other music sounds as good as with Ie6 or better, more-detailed. The able of M1 is better(on my taste)- it's not flexible like Senns', but give me guarantee that wire within sheath will not break.
One disadvantage I found that M1 are harder in "pull out of the ears". But...I don't want to pull out them!
Highly reccomended for speed music lovers (Posted on 10/22/12) - Excellent choice, great sound, very good value for moneyReview by Algimantas

(Posted on 10/11/12)Overall - A Great "Bang for the Buck" BuyReview by Peter Jr.

It is one of those purchases that you grab considering the low price and not expecting much really. But once you got them and tried them it puts a smile on your face knowing you got more out of your money : ) Why? Setting Sound Quality aside, first look at these you get a really nice packaging, the twisted non-tangle wires which is very easy to keep, the hard case and the comply tips! Now the sound is for another bigger smile..with "oh yes this is a steal!"(Got mine as pre-order so much lower price) in my mind. The sound was clear, not as clear as my other earphone which costs twice but it is really close to it not to mention it is half the price. These became smoother after burn-in(I noticed a very slight sibilance on the highs prior to burn-in, on the same track they are now almost unnoticeable) It sounded good on a wide variety of genres, the vocal is clear and is a step back from being upfront which I like. Instrument separation is also good.Overall
One con though, the left earpiece do not have the metal mesh filter I do not know if this happens often but this is something that should have been seen in Q.A. (Posted on 9/26/12) - Great!Review by Tarik Behlul

It's better than many earphones which costs more than 100 dollars. The M1 is the best IEM I've own at this price range. (Posted on 9/18/12)Overall - Excellent choice I made!Review by Sobriety

My old Brainwave Beta (used it for a few years) has given way, so I was looking for a replacement. I am using the Vsonic GR02 as well, but tend to find myself using M1 more than often. If you can get this on offer, I don't think there are many other earphones can beat this warm, musical, natural, detail and clear earphones. (Posted on 9/7/12)Overall - Crystal soundReview by Pablo

I have been using this headphones since last week and I think I'm already in love with them. I was previously using a pair of Tours from Beats that were quite good, but I think the M1 clearly surpass them in terms of sound quality and sound separation.Overall
They are incredibly comfort to wear... actually they are so small that I have problems removing them from my ears...
Extremely recommended headset.

These little gems are, well, very small and light even compared to other IEMs.Overall
Deep bass (though not too exaggerated or overburdening) is the first thing you notice when you shove these into your ears. That said, even after listening for a few minutes you realize that you're not really missing out on anything because of the overemphasized bass. The highs and mids are still there - and the mids in particular are crisp and very well presented. Human voices sound wonderfully on these.
Light electronic music such as house/dance, or classic rock sound amazing.
I wouldn't call them very "audiophile" or exceptionally well balanced, since you feel the bass is very much the emphasis and that treble is a bit lacking in some types of music, but they are definitely "fun" and non fatiguing sounding pair of gems that are more then worth their price.
And the Comply tips are just the icing on the this cake...
My previous IEMs were the Sennhiser CX300 that cost 10$ more, and these M1s put them to shame in every possible regard - build quality, comfort, bass mid and definitly treble (which was non existant on the Senns). (Posted on 8/26/12) - Very enjoyable...Review by TanSL

Bought this IEM as I needed a new pair. Was expecting more bass from the M1 as I was a bass-head. As time goes by, my preference towards music changed. I started loving the M1 even more because of the detailed and clear sounds produced. The bass is very tight and noticeable but it won't shake your head. The sound stage on the M1 are also very impressive.Overall
The M1 is the best IEM I've own at this price range. Would recommend the M1 to anyone who loves music and are on a tight budget. (Posted on 8/18/12) - Really good iemsReview by Manuel

If you're looking for a warm and natural sounding earphones for less than $50 then you should try this one.Overall
M1's sound signature is: warm, musical, natural, detail and clear, with well presented airy sound stage
They give a lot of pleasure, they're of quite good quality (both sound and build)
Cons: a little bit withdrawn lean vocals, lacking in deep well finished bass
(5 stars in this price range, overall 3.9 stars) (Posted on 7/16/12) - GREAT SOUNDReview by Dinuk

I recently bought these and I found them way better my previous skullcandy earphones. bass is really nice and mids are decent. (Posted on 7/9/12)Overall - That I should tell... These are the best ear-phones for the price!!!Review by Anatol

Ordered these ear-phones to the friend, and it was possible to listen to their some time. That I should tell... These are the best ear-phones for the price!!! I have ear-phones more expensively, such as, Hifiman Re-Zero, Sunrise IE, was more many different including M1, but for a long time, me is with what to compare. Earlier when they at me were, they to me seemed a bit darkish in a sound, that is with prevalence of low and average frequencies but when I have listened to them now, on Sansa e260 I have been pleasantly surprised is how much balanced they sound. Voices of vocalists very remarkably sound, they as though sound only for you, very intimately. The bass - sound, can a little bit does not get the bottom, but with warming up I think it will improve, high - sparkle and scattered, not the best, but sufficient. A scene very wide and deep enough.Overall
Separate words are deserved by the complete set - it simply excellent. A case for storage and resocks of ear-phones from a strong material, the nozzles of the every possible sizes similar on structure on Sony Hybrid, and, certainly, Comply foam.
Cable above any praises, it soft and twisted, and by sight very strong and reliable.
Summing up the aforesaid - ear-phones the best for the money, are recommended to acquisition.
By the way at mp4nation.com very excellent support service and guarantees, it is pleasant to buy for this site.
Excuse for bad English. (Posted on 6/25/12) - Not a lot of bass but a whole lot of clarity! Review by Allan

My previous earphone was a Soundmagic PL21, and coming up from that was a huge change. The PL21 had booming bass, which at the time I thought was a good thing. Coming to the M1, that booming bass was gone, but replaced with a much more tight and clearer bass, which was much nicer to the ears. But the thing I noticed most was the clarity of the M1, voices and the entire soundstage sounded so much more crisp. The build quality is extremely good (especially the wire), and the stock tips fit pretty comfortable. I tried using the comply tips included but I didn't really like them. I keep these in my bag everyday and they work perfectly. (Posted on 6/1/12)Overall - excellent product! very good value for money Review by Jacob

Really good soundProofing. it feels like its built for heavy Duty usage. good base, not too agressive , and the high voices are not Screamingly loud.
