Look no further if you want great velour earpads
  • They are very comfortable :). Using them on Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones and they fit quite nicely, a little snug fit but not really that hard to put on, and they stay on well. Very nice memoryfoamy Velour softness! COMFY :)

Price also is OK, not too expensive. Free shipping is a plus. Arrived in about 2 weeks to Finland.

Very versatile pads
  • I bought these to fit onto a pair of Fidelio X2s. Fitting the pads took about 30 minutes as I wanted to be very careful not to damage them. They fit perfectly on these, as well as my wireless RS185. I also believe they would fit my HD598 but have yet to try.

They increased the comfort level on both of the above-mentioned headphones. Very deep, soft earcups. They seem to use very nice material, much nicer than some stock pads that you find on semi-expensive headphones. Very occasionally I feel the top of my ear touching the driver cover, but that can be remedied by inserting some foam or simply purchasing the 'angled' variety.

The picture attached shows them on the Fidelio X2 with a piece of foam inserted behind the ear - not that they need it!

    A fantastic, quality product.

Must have addon for Headphone Lovers
  • I have been using Takstar HI2050 with its stock velvet pads for the last 3 months and felt that comfort level was thought better but could be improved. This is when I found Brainwavz HM5 Velour pads. After going through various reviews across the web from the users of these pads I came to a conclusion that after market headphone pads can improve wear comfort as well as sound dynamics. Then, I decided to give these pads a try. I have been blown away by both comfort as well as the sound that my cans produce now after the change of pads. This is a very good alternative headphone pads for most commonly available over the ear headphones in the market. i would definitely recommend these.

  • Considering the price its better than what i expected.
I purchased this for my fostex t50rp mod.
Ended up with minor tear by over stretching leather.

It didnt progess even with the pressure from the stretch
    after some time.
Anyways it was not used for the hm5.

Excellent Earpad.
  • Excellent Earpad. Use at Fostex 50. With hardly managed to put on. For the ears comfortable and they do not get wet as a complete set. Character of the music changed, but I rework Fostex 50 and so the result is now (at the time) does not matter.
