Very comfy pads for Ultrasone HFIReview by Martin

Overall

This is one of the most comfortable earpad that can be bought for headphones. Very recommended for modding other headphones to improve comfort.

I've tried them on the Ultrasone HFI series headphones. The fit is a bit loose but they do not fall off. They improve the comfort a lot, creates a better seal so there are better isolation that with the stock pads - and they probably also gives more impact-full bass because of the better seal.

I highly recommend the HFI-580 with these pads as a very nice basshead headphone.

Overall

I am using these on the JVC HA-S400. These earpads turn the JVCs into over-the-ear and bring them into a different league comfort wise. The default small earpads are pressing right on the ears, can't keep the headphones on for more than an hour.
With these earpads, I don't feel them at all.
Surprisingly, unlike with most big earpads, these don't make the ears sweat.
The most significant improvement is in the sound - the sound stage improves dramatically.

The fit is a bit loose, but you can shove some paper towels inside to make it better. As Chris mentioned, O-ring (thickness 3/16", inner diameter = 2-5/8") also will help. I use both O-ring and paper towels at the same time, as paper towels also improve isolation. (Posted on 1/27/13)

I bought these to supplement my JVC S500's. They are too big for the S500's so you have to mod them to make them fit perfectly. You can either sew the sides ~5-10mm to make it a snugger fit or buy an O-ring to hold it in place (thickness 3/16", inner diameter = 2-5/8")

They are really comfy headphone pads. I like them a lot. But, like all over the ear pads, they can get warm over prolonged use. Even after about 15mins of listening my ears get a little warm. They are super comfortable and feel great on the ears, I just need to get used to the heat that comes with over ear, ear pads. (Posted on 12/24/12)

Overall

Used these pads on top of the stock and other small pads on JVC HA-S500 headphone. Fit on the JVC's is not quite optimal, but the comfort is very high and serves the purpose of making around-the ears out of these phone. (Posted on 11/6/12)

Overall

I used these pads to mod my fostex t50rp's. They seal great, cheaper/better than the shure 840 pads.
