Nice pads, but horrible vendor and shipping
  • I have nothing against the HM5 pads. These are build well. These were shipped internationally from Hong Kong in a bubble package. Yeah. Those with minimal protection. You would assume that there will be some ups and downs in transit, and protect the items better. I ordered 4 pads, and half of them came as if they were stressed and used for months. Was told by support that its "natural". Try to find these elsewhere, mp4nation was a nightmare.

Solid product, fits the purpose
  • Used these pads on top of the stock and other small pads on JVC HA-S500 headphone. Fit on the JVC's is not quite optimal, but the comfort is very high and serves the purpose of making around-the ears out of these phone.

Comfy pads
  • I bought these to supplement my JVC S500's. They are too big for the S500's so you have to mod them to make them fit perfectly. You can either sew the sides ~5-10mm to make it a snugger fit or buy an O-ring to hold it in place (thickness 3/16", inner diameter = 2-5/8")

They are really comfy headphone pads. I like them a lot. But, like all over the ear pads, they can get warm over prolonged use. Even after about 15mins of listening my ears get a little warm. They are super comfortable and feel great on the ears, I just need to get used to the heat that comes with over ear, ear pads.

Great for modding
  • I used these pads to mod my fostex t50rp's. They seal great, cheaper/better than the shure 840 pads.

You can visit my website to check out the modded fostex t50rp's.

Very comfy
  • I am using these on the JVC HA-S400. These earpads turn the JVCs into over-the-ear and bring them into a different league comfort wise. The default small earpads are pressing right on the ears, can't keep the headphones on for more than an hour.
With these earpads, I don't feel them at all.
Surprisingly, unlike with most big earpads, these don't make the ears sweat.
The most significant improvement is in the sound - the sound stage improves dramatically.

The fit is a bit loose, but you can shove some paper towels inside to make it better. As Chris mentioned, O-ring (thickness 3/16", inner diameter = 2-5/8") also will help. I use both O-ring and paper towels at the same time, as paper towels also improve isolation.

Very comfy pads for Ultrasone HFI
  • This is one of the most comfortable earpad that can be bought for headphones. Very recommended for modding other headphones to improve comfort.

I've tried them on the Ultrasone HFI series headphones. The fit is a bit loose but they do not fall off. They improve the comfort a lot, creates a better seal so there are better isolation that with the stock pads - and they probably also gives more impact-full bass because of the better seal.

I highly recommend the HFI-580 with these pads as a very nice basshead headphone.

Great for many headphones
  • I really love these pads. They are thick and very comfortable. I'm using them on my Sony zx700ip, Takstar Pro 80, Somic Efi82MT in addition to my Brainwavz HM5.

I think these pads are really hard to beat for the price and would recommend everybody to try them on every headphone that they do fit. I wouldn't be surprised if you find that both comfort and sound is improved.

I don't find them them to get very hot and they isolate well.

Perfect fit for HiFiMAN HE500
  • Purchased this as a replacement for my HE500 leather pads. With a bit of effort, it fits very well and is more comfortable than the stock pads. Those are also cheaper, what's not to like?

Earpads for HE-6
  • A really good product, softer and more comfortable than the stock pads. Fits snugly around the headphone.
I conceive an improvement in SQ as well.
Cheaper than the stock pleathers, with free shipping.
    Really impressed so far!

ATH-M50 is happy now
  • Excellent fit. Excellent Feel and believe it or not these pads open up the upper mids a bit on the Audio Technica ATH-M50. Don't hesitate. Buy a pair before they run out! Your ears will thank you. If you were comparing these to the Shure 840 pads, stop, buy the HM5s.. Trust me.

What you will notice immediately is how much more room your ears have. The pads are actually circum-aural. They sit around rather than on your ear. Huge improvement over the stock earpads. Again, just buy them.
