Overall

I was really pleasantly surprised with these. I was doubly lucky as i purchased them when they were on sale but even at their full price I believe they are a great buy. Sound is really good- obviously not as good as some high end IEMs but compared with similarly priced products they excel. Also one of the more comfortable IEMs I have tried. (Posted on 3/14/13)

Overall

Lets get one thing out of the way first. Sound Quality. Its good. Balanced. Casual listeners will not have any complaints.

I had a pair of Beta for travel use. They broke just under an year so I ordered another pair. What struck me that the cable on the newer one was so bad! My earlier pair had a soft cable which resisted tangling while the new one was hard and tangled quite easily. While that may have been done to increase the structural potency but I liked the older one better.

This is the only Issue I had with my Beta and they are perfect for what I use them for.

If nitpicking then I would say that the Mic could be a little less sensitive. Picks up a heck lotta noise.

I rate the Betas at 4/5 especially with the Comply Foam tips. (Posted on 1/21/13)

I bought a few of these for friends including my own sporadic use. They are definitely a step above Brainwavz Alpha but can't match up to M1 which I have as well. However, there was an issue which MP4Nation resolved it. My friend's unit has the cap dropped off and it seeed that it wasn't glue appropriately. This seems to be a common manufacturer's issue as I heard such cases. Anyway, it will give very good sound when it doesn't have manufacturer's defects. I am not sure how well this will hold but only time will tell. (Posted on 11/24/12)

These earphones has great, clear sound, along with poor build of earpieces and low isolation, but overall for 33$ it's hard to find anything better than this. Recommend them for everyone who's looking for good sound at low price. But if you are ready to spend 10$ more you should definitely buy brainwavz m1. (Posted on 11/17/12)

I have had these for year, they had broke near plug. I checked site again and they redesigned that part and offcourse how can i not order it.

I mostly use them while travelling, even though not fully isolated they provide good enough if used with comfy tips.

Normally, I don't use (in) earphones because of the uncomfortable feeling if the silicone tips.

However, these came with a foam tip that fits just right. Bass isn't good enough for me. However, I have a limited quantity of songs that require bass, So I can get away with saying that it sounds great with most of my audio collection.

I can assure that you will enjoy these earphones if you are NOT an audiophile... And, if you don't listen to too much bass. (Posted on 9/29/12)

Had read some good reviews on these but, after purchasing some MEE M16's (which had similar reviews) and being dissapointed, didn't expect the world.
Gladly, I was proven wrong.
These are a very well balanced earphone, with a quirky design, which actually ends up making them fit very well. Comply tips are amazing. I sometimes prefer to listen through these over my Alessandros, or ATH700's because I literally forget I have them on.
They would've got 5 stars but the build quality feels a bit cheap and I think the Right phone is 5% quieter than the left, maybe because of the call answer button on that channel?

I've had these for a little less than a year now, and they served me quite well. The sound is great for the promotional price I got them for a while back, and they do occasionally go on sale for around $13-15 here. However, to my dismay, the left ear stopped working a couple of days ago, and now I'm stuck without a decent pair of IEMs :( The build quality from the beginning seemed adequate enough, but the cord/jack was always a bit on the flimsier side. For the price, I think that the sound quality of this earphones cannot be beaten: incredible clarity, good mids, punchy bass and good isolation with the Comply tips.
The only problems are that (for me) they are not the MOST confortable earphones ever (but they are not bad, either), and the construction quality could be a little better (all plastic, a bit flimsy cable and remote).

Everything said about the Beta without a microphone, and refers to these headphones.
"These headphones bass am feeling much better than the Alpha. For me, it's not a plus, but for many, yes, I know. Landing in the ears is much better than the Alpha, but worse than in the SM PL50. The wire quality. Unfortunately I had little used them, so that durability will not say anything."

J ordered this earphones from mp4nation at a promotional price.They look pretty cool and come with a nice accessory package The sound quality is perfect but the isolation of earphones is not the best but adequate,the microphone is doing fine.

I am using it as my primary earphones in daily basis with my phone Samsung Galaxy SL I9003. It works very satisfactorily.

The Sound is very much clear and detailed one, which is the highlight of these earphones. The package contains various tips. The remote functions works well with my phone, which I really enjoy.

I bought this for my phone and was impressed with the overall sound considering the bargain price.
Fit and comfort was good with plenty of tip sizes and the inclusion of memory foam tips was a pleasant surprise.

I've had these earphones for about a month now and I can say that they have unbelievable detail and balance for this price range. They are very comfortable too: you can easily forget that you are wearing them, especially if you are using the comply foam tips which are provided in the box. The remote button is quite responsive.
