Video: Trouble With Your MIDnite Stand?

June 11, 2011 by HS in Video with No Comments.

It took us a while to figure it out too. Alex has kindly put together a small demonstration video of how the stand works. He's neglected to show how the 2 pieces connect together, but under the assumption that if you can't figure that out, then there is no hope for you and you're better off just giving up on everything entirely... oh, and you probably shouldn't be driving a car too.

Nationite Nanite N2 Gets Recommended On Polish Tech Site!

May 20, 2011 by Alex in NaNite, Nationite with No Comments.

Whilst going through our daily routine of spinning our *illustrious globe, dropping a finger on a country and scouring where we'll next go on holiday what tech sites they have, we stumbled across a Polish site - pclab.pl - that had posted a recommendation of our Nationite Nanite N2! The recommendation was on a thread summarizing different audio players, titled "Summery of the Ear". The N2's performance came as a surprise to the reviewers, and was rewarded the recommendation for its ability to sync well with the earphones they tested it with, its "very decent" BBE sound equalizer and that it has a really good "game"... although surely they meant 'name' because... come on, Nanite N2 is an awesome name. Check out the N2 recommendation as well as the full summery from the via source below -

Netflix On The MIDnite Via Playon

March 30, 2011 by Alex in MIDnite, Nationite, Video with No Comments.

MP4Nation forum moderator Rowwor has managed to get Netflix movies up and running on the Nationit MIDnite through a free tail version of Playon. Perhaps not as good as other devices Rowwor has tried Netlfix on (iPhone, iTouch, ect.), the MIDnite was still able to run the movie given that all other apps were not running. A brief on how Playon works - you run Playon on your computer which ultimately turns it into a server that then plays movies from different channels such as Hulu, ESPN, Comedy Central, MTV, Netflix, ect. onto your device. As you're streaming from a PC to a device, there are chances that playback can lag a bit. Although it's good to know that our MIDnite with Android is able to be used as a Netflix screen! Check out Rowwor's video of a Netflix movie (I'm guessing Charlie's

Fishin’ 2 Go Lite On The MIDnite-C: Angling For A Review

March 16, 2011 by Alex in App Review, Review with 1 Comment.

Fishin' 2 Go (Lite version) is what it says it is: a fishing game to play whilst on the go. Even more so than you'd expect form a game, as getting a bite isn't necessarily the easiest or quick to come by - much like out there in reel real-life. The main attraction this game has is the fact that it puts the MIDnite's accelerometer to good use as you have to flick the device forward in order to cast your line out. After that it's a sit and wait game whilst the sensors pick up signals of fish that never quite make it close enough to your hook. Click after the break to find out how the game works on the capacitive MIDnite, a comparison review with the resistive and whether or not I got the big catch. After looking around at the game's menus and help page, I then realised that I was pl

NaNite N2 – A Customer Review

Forum member "klw" gives us his take on the NaNite N2 in a well thought out review, featuring no technical terminology for sound quality, and therefore better for those laymen like me who aren't "audiophiles". His take on the sound quality, the build quality and sizing provide important insight for the average customer. "I will be using the N2 more or less on a daily basis, overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. If anyone is in the market for a small mp3 player, the N2 would be a good choice."
