FiiO has posted a important announcement that there are fake FiiO E6 amps being made and sold in many places. These E6 seem to have similar components and look similar but there are small differences in the finishing and circuitry that distinguish them as fakes and inferior products.
You can read the announcement and find out how to spot the fakes here.
You can purchase original FiiO E6 amps from us or find a authorized reseller near you. Purchasing from a authorized reseller will save you a lot of headache trying to figure out if you got a fake.
We have here a quick and simple unboxing video of the FiiO E10 DAC and Headphone Amp. The video, laced with some smooth flowing beats, shows you just what to expect once you've received the lil' guy at your home, and what extras come with it. There's also a comparison of the E10 to other devices such as the FiiO E7 and even an iPhone. The nugget sized video was craftily done by YouTube member juantafanta, and definitely deserves a push from the 'like' button. Check it out now!

Thanks to MP4 Nation forum member cathy cai for posting the review link, and thanks for ClieOS for writing it! The review is on FiiO's E10 USB DAC with Headphone Amp, and is done in typical ClieOS style - very thorough and well written with comparisons that helps set a bar for better understanding. The review - originally posted on head-fi.org - runs through the E10 from its (pre-release) packaging, through to the build and sound quality, and caps off with an overall conclusion, all the while dotted with great images and said comparisons. We recently blogged a review on FiiO's E10 DAC Amp, and if you've read it and came to the conclusion that that's the DAC device you've been waiting all your life for then dally no further - we've now for the FiiO E10 at our web store and it is currently on a preorder price of USD$74.50 only! This great price wont last forever though as stock is expected to arrive by the end of this month, so you best hurry and grab it whilst it's hot! For those not in the know, the E10 is FiiO's latest 96k/24bit USB audio decoder (DAC) headphone amplifier that offers professional enhancement to your PC's on-board sound card, giving you great audio quality capable of driving high-end headphones. Check out the well written review here or simply go ahead and try it out for yourself by purchasing it here!
FiiO's line-up of Amp/DACs has just been increased by one with the introduction of their USB DAC/Amp - the E10. And what better way to learn all about a new product then to read a thorough review on it which we've got right here, thanks to headfonia.com. What's great about this review is not only does it give you a good scope on what to expect from the E10 from first impressions to technicality from its hardware, it also compares the E10 to other Amp devices, discusses music genres and even delves into headphone pairing! Oh, and not to forget the great images - there are some great looking images of the E10. Check out what we mean by reading the full review here.
"this thing sounds good. Amazingly good in fact, despite the fact that I just finished the ALO Continental amplifier review
After a flurry of "when's" and "how much" coming in from all over the world, we can finally say "now!" and "USD$28.50!". That's right, the FiiO E6 portable amp is finally here at MP4 Nation and comes with a very reasonable price in our opinion! The E6 is the successor of FiiO's E5 portable amp, and brings to the table improved sound quality and high power output which suits just fine with high-end, high impedance in-ears and headphones. It also has a great new look and a plastic shell making it much lighter and easier to carry. The E6 is the perfect companion for your out-and-about rig, so dally not and head over to its product page to check it out, then purchase!
We've recently blogged about InEarMatters.net writer and MP4 Nation forum member CleiOS' preview-to-his-review image-based unboxing of the FiiO E6 - well now we've got his full review! It comes complete with: tech prelude; specifications; packaging, accessories and build quality; battery life; gain and hiss; sound quality and EQ; and overall verdict. And to cut to the chase, it's a positive outcome with the E6 being praised as a device made with the E5 and E7's weaknesses in mind. However, we advice not cutting to the chase and to read the well written full review here!
"FiiO has managed to address some of the weakness in old E5 / E7 and add some very useful features to E6"
Fiio's latest amp offering - the E6 - has already started a bit of a buzz on our forum site, so it's always good to see real-time-user updates about the product. We've got exactly that with an unboxing of the E6 done by ClieOS from in-ear-matters.net. There are some great images showing what the E6 will look like on your very own table-top, along with a quick comment on how the E6 matches up to its predecessor, the E5, and the E11. Check out the image-based unboxing of the Fiio E6 by clinking on this here link. You can also join in on our E6 discussion on our forum site by following this link here.

Fiio's latest amp has been spotted on head-fi.org. It is the E17 and according to the company, it is a follow-up product to their ever-popular E7 Amp/DAC. At the moment we've only got a Fiio rendering image of the new Amp/DAC, but from that we can already tell that it'll have that sleek Fiio style, similar to the E7 minus the full front face screen. The E17 instead has a smaller screen within its metal front which also houses seemingly all of the buttons. We don't yet know the specs or release date of the E17, but check out the rendered image after the break to get your "can't wait" squeals on.
