ViewSonic’s E-book Reader Another To Decode 1080p
The e-book readers that function as so much more are still coming in, with ViewSonic’s own MB-P702 being the latest, a 7-inch e-book reader with the capability to decode 1080p video. The 7-inch LCD screen (800×480) will make it difficult to read the e-books in sunlight, but should make night time reading a pleasure. The e-book reader, or e-reader from ViewSonic comes at a similar time to their 7-inch Qualcomm-powered Android tablet that has been announced recently and is making rounds on the blog-go-round. On a end note, the MB-P702 certainly looks like it can do more than simply read e-books, but with the Android-powered tablet on it’s way, one might argue that is the better overall product, and is also perfectly capable of reading e-books… The 1080p processing power of the MB-P702 is impressive with varied file format support (MKV, AVI, WMV, MPG, MP4, RMVB, etc.) and the design is quite sleek.
